31 August 2011 - WWF Scorecard shows Baltic countries' environmental efforts are failing

Baltic Sea countries do not live up to the commitments they have promised to implement to protect the marine environment. The region as a whole has clearly failed. Germany and Sweden get the best grades but are still weak in many areas. The report is produced by Factwise for the WWF Baltic Ecoregion Programme.

17 July 2011 - Report rouses debate in Tanzanian parliament

Actionaid and Factwise’s report on Swedish development funding invested in tax haven based PanAfrica Energy has roused a debate in Tanzania. PanAfrica Energy extracts natural gas in Tanzania but its offices are based in the British Virgin Islands. The company's agreements with the Tanzanian state and its tax payments are now being investigated by a committee to map what has happened.
