We call it investigative journalism. Before we started Factwise, we often lacked someone we could hire to investigate an issue more closely. Someone who will not complicate things with too much or unnecessary information, or oversimplify to such an extent that the core issue is lost.
Factwise conducts investigative journalism, on commission or on our own initiative. Our clients are often non-profit or non-governmental organizations but we are equally happy to collaborate with companies, public institutions or media offices.
We dig out facts, compile and present them in a clear and comprehensible manner, often as reports. In collaboration with our clients, we invest much time in assessing what the client really wants and needs, to ensure that our clients are satisfied with the end product, and to avoid unnecessary costs.
Finding inaccessible facts and information is our greatest strength. We are immensely stubborn and will not consider ourselves finished until all resources have been exhausted to map what is going on. We have access to a large number or archives and databases, and our colleagues keep up-to-date within their fields respectively. Our work methods include everything from desk research and interviews to field investigations.
We conduct everything from background research to complete articles and reports. In the menu below you can see the results of some our research.
